How to Convert Trial to Full Version Microsoft Office 2010

Microsoft offers a free 60-day trial of its flagship product, Microsoft Office 20007. The trial period begins when you activate the software. During the trial period, you can evaluate the software and use all features of the product. When you are getting close to the end of the trial period, the software will start asking if you want to convert to the full version. Converting the trial version to the full version is a convenient way to upgrade without the bother of uninstalling the trial version and then installing the full version. To convert your trial version of Microsoft Office to the full version, you need a product key for the full version.
Step 1
Buy the full version of Microsoft Office either online or at a retail store. The full version includes a product key for the software.

Step 2

Start the conversion process. Either click on the "Convert" button that appears in an expiration reminder, or click the Microsoft "Office" button and then click "Options" for one of the programs (for example, "Word Options," "Excel Options" or "PowerPoint Options"), next click the "Resources" tab and finally the "Activate" button. The Trial Activation Wizard appears.

Step 3
Click "Enter Product Key" and then type in the product key. Click "Continue" and then accept the license agreement by clicking its check box.

Step 4
Click "Install" to update Microsoft Office to the full version.

Step 5
Launch the full version of Microsoft Office and follow the on-screen prompts to activate it.
